Explore both sides of the island of St Martin – Dutch (St Maarten) and French (St-Martin) – on a scenic 4.5-hour sightseeing tour! Bask in the sun on Orient Beach or Grand Case Beach; soak up the foodie atmosphere in Grand Case; explore the village of Marigot; and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Caribbean and its surroundings. Plus, learn about the cultural history of the Lesser Antilles island from your guide. With pristine tropical beaches and picturesque natural landscapes at every turn, you can't help but fall in love this piece of paradise!

No matter which sightseeing option you choose, you’ll experience a blend of St Martin's colonial past with its modern present as you visit both sides of the Caribbean island, settled by the Dutch and the French in the 1600s. As you tour the island with your guide, learn how the two sides joined forces against the Spanish, dividing the 37-square-mile (60-square-km) island almost equally between them into Dutch St Maarten and French St-Martin.

After pickup from your Philipsburg hotel, venture first to Grand Case Beach, one of the most tranquil and beautiful of St Martin's coastline. Here, on the north end of the French side, walk along the crystal-white sand and admire the pristine, clear blue water that mirrors the sky. Sunbathe, swim or stroll at your leisure, basking in the tropical sun.

The visit the village of Grand Case, where you can try guavaberry rum punch or simply enjoy a soda or beer. If you choose, dine on a local dish, such as chicken legs or Johnny Cake – a fried cornmeal pancake – for lunch (own expense).

Next, head to the quaint village of Marigot. Delight in the European ambiance of the town, where colonial streets lined with shops and the open-air bazaar offer plenty of duty-free shopping opportunities if you’re interested.

Then, visit Maho Beach and hold your breath as you watch airplanes fly close above as they approach the runway at nearby Princess Juliana International Airport. Your tour ends with a drive through Simpson Bay on your return to your hotel.

This tour visits the North West coast of Curacao. This is where the wind pushes the sea with such a force onto the coast that you will find water spectacles such as the natural jacuzzi where one can bathe in a shallow, naturally formed, bathtub. You can get showered by a natural fountain. You will go the Shete Boka Natural Park, where the powerful breaking of the waves not only creates the Boka Pistol (the natural water canon) and Boka Tabla (a cave you should not miss when visiting Curacao) but also the typical thunder that the locals call the Breath of Curacao, henceforth the name of this tour.

This is a half day tour from 9am to 1pm with pick-up time between 8am and 9am depending on your accommodation. For cruise passengers the pick up time will be adjusted according to your arrival time to the cruise port.

Mini desert of Curacao: After pickup from your accommodation and a safety briefing, your adventure starts off at the wide-open desert planes where your guide will tell you about the volcanic and coral geological origins of the island with three distinct terraces running for miles along the north coastline of Curacao.

Supladó: You then visit the natural jacuzzi where the sea-water and foam are spray through a chute into the air displaying colourful fountains and rainbows. You can stand in the shallow warm water surrounding the Supladó and watch the spectacular show from close by.

Boka Tabla: Then you head towards the Shete Boka National Park where you visit a cave when half of it is immersed in water with a narrow opening towards the sea, allowing powerful breaking waves to rush into the cave with a pounding and roaring resonance. This beautiful sight set in its natural theater is an unforgetable memory of Curacao.

Boka Pistol: An inlet where the waves smash against the coral rock wall and explode into a furious fountain that sounds like a gun shot, hence the name. You can photograph the spectacle from a lookout point or stand facing the water with the risk of getting very wet.

Take a plunge in one of our crystalline beaches, go on a shopping spree or visit the various museums, while your TukTuk and chauffeur await you.

By renting a Tuktuk you'll enjoy the service of an independent chauffeur/tour guide to accompany you while exploring the scenery of both the inner, as well as the outer parts of the city, for a minimum of 2 hours.
