St Maarten has a wealth of dive sites to explore with many wrecks and reefs for PADI certified scuba divers to enjoy. Dive into the warm and inviting waters where you’ll find an abundance of marine life at your fingertips. Whether you are new to scuba diving or have plenty of dives tucked under your weight belt, you’ll be mesmerized by the undersea wonders of the calm Caribbean. This small-group tour is limited to 12 people, ensuring personalized attention from your expert diving guide.

Your St Maarten diving adventure begins when you board the spacious and well-equipped dive boat at Simpson Bay or Divi Little Bay (depending on which morning time you select.) A short cruise over gorgeous turquoise waters of the Caribbean brings you to your first dive site at a depth of approximately 75 feet (23 meters). You’ll be in the company of highly trained and professional PADI guides who provide a safe and fun experience for all.
Dive sites are chosen on the morning of the dive, depending on diver skill level, weather conditions and the group's preferences. Possible dive sites from Simpson Bay include the remains of the old Simpson Bay Bridge encrusted with corals and sea sponges. Surrounded by three sunken sailboats, this site is teeming with marine life, including eels, lobsters, stingrays and even the odd reef shark.
From Divi Little Bay you might dive at Teigland, where schools of huge fish dart around an old ship and eagle rays glide over the reef. Or head to Mike’s Maze to find large and colorful coral formations in the extended reef. If you have a favorite type of dive site, simply let the crew know on the day and they will do their best to accommodate your request (subject to local conditions).
Please note: As this is a certified diving activity, you are required to show your certification card and complete a health questionnaire to participate.

From St. Maarten, take this half day snorkeling excursion to the rock formation, Creole Rock. Here, in the calm, crystal clear waters, you'll snorkel amongst the many varieties of fish and may even catch a glimpse of the rare frogfish. Ice cold beverages are included on board, as well as a fresh French baguette for all the hungry snorkelers!

Sand Dollar is a great half day trip from St. Maarten, offering sightseeing, snorkeling and swimming. Captain Alex is one of our most complimented staff members and will be looking after your tour group for the day!

The cruise takes guests through the lagoon, along our beautiful coastline and up to Creole Rock, off Grand Case. Creole Rock is a large rock formation with a reef extending out towards to the mainland, about a mile offshore. Waters are shallow and calm and provide excellent snorkeling. The boat picks up a mooring in a large sandy patch, in about 8 feet (2.4 meters) of water.

The shallow water, while being great for diving, offers great chances of seeing the rare frog fish, puffer fish, occasional barracuda and many different varieties of reef fish. Divers are welcome, however they must bring their own equipment.

A large cooler keeps beers and sodas ice cold for refreshment throughout the day and bread and cheese are served to hungry snorkelers. Guests should bring towels, hats, sun block and bathing suits. Underwater cameras are on sale in our boutique for those who wish to capture the beauty of the underwater world!

Non swimmers are also welcome to share in the enjoyable boat ride with great views of Anguilla from Creole Rock.

Worry-free Shore Excursion:
We will ensure your excursion ends with ample time for you to return to Port of St Maarten for your ship’s departure. In the rare event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. See our terms and conditions for full details.

Named the 'Unspoiled Queen', Saba is an eco paradise and quite the getaway for avid divers, hikers and nature enthusiasts. She is as beautiful on top as she is underneath. The journey is 75-90 minutes, and docks in Fort Bay, the only proper access to the sea on Saba. Saba is sheer cliffs on all sides, and even the old slave path still remains where goods were offloaded for transport to the villages by donkey.

Optional taxis meet the passengers at the boat and tour up into the island. First stop is a village called the Bottom, on up to Windwardside, where the trails start for hiking and tours continue over through Hells Gate with a look down to the airport, precariously balanced out on a lava overflow. Taxi tours are the only way to get up and into the island as the walk up from Fort Bay to The Bottom is vertical and strenuous. The views are spectacular. Drivers will stop at places of interest to take photos, and will let hikers out at the trail with arrangements to meet them for the return journey to Fort Bay.

The hiking in Saba's rainforest is not to be missed with the main trail, Mt. Scenery, being the most popular. It is possible to stop at any point and return to Windwardside, or challenge the climb for the views from the top. The Saba Trail Shop asks a US$3 donation for the trail upkeep, and guests receive a trail badge. Windwardside boasts great little restaurants for lunch. There are a few shops selling local crafts such as hand blown glass, jewelry and artwork. The villages are quaint with low built cottages all whitewashed with red and green roofs, tiny narrow roads and very friendly locals.

Saba is very unspoiled and a refreshing change from the cosmopolitan hustle and bustle that St. Martin and St. Barts provide.
